The Harmony-Preston Trail connects with the Root River
Trail about halfway between Fountain and Lanesboro. From
this point down to Harmony is 18 miles. From Isinours
Junction
to several miles south of
 , the trail is quite flat and
nicely
shaded. Then there are several hills as it
climbs out of the River Valley. From then on, there are just small gently rolling
hills
into Harmony. This is an Amish farming area, so one
might
see buggies, or horses pulling farm equipment. This is
a great
trail, as it offers just a little bit of everything.
